Terms and Conditions are a legal binding contract between the named person on the booking confirmation/agreement and Thai Staff Training Ltd. No training can be provided without this Booking confirmation/agreement being signed and dated.

Balances: Full outstanding balance is payable on the day of training. Full training fee must be paid in full (£240) prior to training of APLH. At the discretion, overdue or outstanding payments due will be charged interest at 5% per month above Barclay’s bank, base rate. Seriously overdue balances, over 30 days will be recovered by legal action through the county court. This will incur further charges applicable and added to the outstanding debt. 

Dishonoured cheques: when a cheque payment has been returned for representing a fee of £10.00 will be charged. If the cheque has been returned refer to drawer. We will charge a fee of £25.00 plus any additional costs incurred in the recovery of the amount outstanding.

Cancellations: Written notice 14 working days or more before the start of a course will be refunded less any costs incurred. If written notice is received less than 14 working before the start of a course, the fee will be credited less an administration charge of 50% of the course fee to a maximum of £100.00 in addition to any costs incurred by us, which cannot be recovered. Example, examination fee and external examiner charges. If a candidate/student fails to attend a course, there will be NO refund and the full fee becomes payable immediately.

However, the candidate will be able to book on a future course within a maximum of six months at the rate, applicable at the time of study, Plus VAT, less any deposit already paid.

 

Proof of ID: All candidates/Students must bring current photo Identification and VISA status on the first day of study, Initial Assessment or (induction day where funded training is being used).  Candidates/Students will NOT be allowed to study without valid proof of photo ID and visa status.

 

Examinations/assessments: All Awarding Bodies require proof of photo ID on the day of examination/assessment. Candidates/Students who do not have photo ID will NOT be permitted to take the examination /assessment by the examiner/invigilator. You will be reminded by the tutor prior to examination day.  

 

Re-sits: When a candidate does not pass the examination/Assessment first time, he/she will be allowed to re-sit the examination/assessment again once more free of charge, with the exception of ESOL and Life in the U.K Test. Further re-sits will incur a payment to cover additional examination fee(s) via your chosen Test Centre(s).

 

Life in the UK: Fees for this course cover the tuition and hand book only. Life in the UK Test Centre fee is payable by the candidate separately direct to the Test Centre.

 

ESOL: Please note the Home Office constantly update rules for residency and citizenship requirements. We offers appropriate qualifications required by the Home Office at the time of teaching neither us nor its representatives can be held responsible for changes to the Home Office criteria in qualifications after such teaching dates.

 

Postage:  All course fees cover our postage to you, when you need to return items in the postal system to us. Please ensure correct postage is paid prior to posting. Any under paid postage will incur a surcharge of £20.00 plus VAT, to cover travel and admin cost to collect the under paid item.

 

All Certificates will be posted via Royal Mail Special Delivery to the address confirmed by the candidate/Student.

All prices quoted were correct at 1st January 2018 and are subject to change without notice.

Data Protection: Under the data protection act 1998 personal information is collected from Candidates / Students to comply with the Home Office requirements. Such information will be held for a term not exceeding six months or the length of the course, if longer and will be stored securely. Information will only be passed to third parties for legal requirements. I.E. When applying for personal alcohol licences and as required by law to the Home Office, police or official government office.
